BAG LIMIT

• One gobbler per day; four gobbler bag limit during spring season (no fall season)
• No more than two gobblers from any one WMA, CHA, or National Forest (USFS)
• No more than one gobbler during the first 10 days of each season from all combined WMA’s, CHA’s and National Forests (USFS)

Counties: Autauga, Baldwin, Barbour, Bibb, Blount, Bullock, Butler, Calhoun, Chambers, Cherokee, Chilton, Choctaw, Cleburne, Coffee, Conecuh, Coosa, Crenshaw, Cullman (except north of Lewis Smith Lake and north of Cullman County Road 437 and west of Interstate 65), Dale, Dallas, DeKalb, Elmore, Escambia, Etowah, Fayette, Geneva, Greene, Hale, Henry, Houston, Jackson, Jefferson, Lamar, Lee, Lowndes, Macon, Marengo, Marion, Marshall, Mobile, Montgomery, Perry, Pickens, Pike, Russell, St. Clair, Shelby, Sumter, Tallapoosa, Tuscaloosa, Walker, Washington, and Wilcox.

Zone 2: April 1 – May 8

• Colbert, Cullman (north of Lewis Smith Lake and north of Cullman County Road 437 and west of Interstate 65), Franklin, Lauderdale, Lawrence, Limestone, Madison, Morgan, and Winston.

Zone 3: November 20 – 28; December 11 – January 1; March 25 – May 8

• Clarke, Clay, Covington, Monroe, Randolph, and Talladega.

DUCK

• 6 ducks a day — may include no more than 4 Mallards (no more than 2 of which may be female), 3 Wood Ducks, 1 Mottled Duck, 2 Black Duck, 2 Redhead, 1 Pintail, 2 Canvasback, and 1 Scaup.

COOT

• 15 a day

MERGANSER

• 5 a day, only 2 may be a Hooded Merganser.

GEESE (All Geese) Statewide

• By limited quota permit only.
• Must apply online at www.outdooralabama.com
• Must be sixteen (16) years of age or older and an Alabama resident or Alabama lifetime hunting license holder to apply. 
• Limit 3 per person per permit.
• Hunting zone will be that area north of Interstate 20 from the Georgia state line to the interchange with Interstate 65, then east of Interstate 65 to the interchange with Interstate 22, then north of Interstate 22 to the Mississippi state line. (excludes the remainder of the state)
• Shooting Hours: sunrise to sunset.
• Legal arms and ammunition are the same as other waterfowl.
